TDIP: The Time Domain Impedance Probe (TDIP) board is the actual science payload of Jagsat-1.  The TDIP board emits a radio-frequency pulse into the plasma near the satellite using two two-foot probes and then measures the response. The response is saved (at first in memory on the TDIP and then on the SD card on C&DH) for transmission back to Earth.  The response can be analyzed to determine the density of electrons, and important measurement for understanding plasma.
